Who is simply strong?

First of all, we all are Simply Strong.

It might sound a little cheesy, but I truly believe it. Life asks a lot of us. At different times, we are required to be strong physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. Sometimes all at once.

If you are here, you are already showing strength. SimplyStrongMBC exists to help you recognize that strength, build on it, and feel more connected to your body, your mind, and the people around you.

This is a space to move mindfully, learn about your body, and feel supported, not judged.

My Own journey inspired me…

I started SimplyStrongMBC because I have seen firsthand how movement and connection can change lives, including my own.

As a certified personal trainer and yoga teacher, I have watched people go from feeling nervous and self conscious to discovering strength they never thought they had. That moment, when someone lifts a weight they did not believe they could, or moves with confidence instead of fear, is where real change happens.

My own journey with mental health, including experiences with depression and anxiety, showed me how powerful mindful movement can be. Strength training and mobility work helped me reconnect with my body, build confidence, and prove to myself that I can do hard things.

Just as important was community. Feeling supported, seen, and not alone made all the difference. That belief is at the heart of everything I do at SimplyStrongMBC.

“That’s why SimplyStrongMBC isn’t just about Movement — it’s about guiding you to your inner strength.”

More Than Movement. Mind, Body, Connection.

At SimplyStrongMBC, I focus on how movement feels, not how it looks.

Workouts are built around safe movement, mobility, and strength training that supports both physical and mental health. Education is a big part of the process, because understanding your body helps build trust and confidence in how you move.

There is no pressure to perform, compare, or push past your limits here. Modifications are encouraged and supported. Smart movement matters.

This is a community rooted in encouragement, not judgement. People cheer each other on, celebrate progress at every level, and build connections that go far beyond the workout space!

A Safe Place to Start, Wherever You Are

I know how intimidating it can feel to start something new.

SimplyStrongMBC is designed to be welcoming to adults of all experience levels, ages, and backgrounds. Whether you are brand new to strength training, returning after time away, or working around injuries or limitations, you will be met with care, guidance, and respect.

There is no pressure and no expectation to be anything other than yourself. Come try one class, see how it feels, and move at your own pace in a supportive environment!

Community Is at the Heart of Everything

When I am not coaching, you can usually find me with my four dogs and four cats, supporting local community initiatives, raising funds for our local humane society, or fostering connection through movement and mindfulness.

Community is not an add on at SimplyStrongMBC. It is the foundation.

Everything I offer is rooted in the belief that people feel stronger, both physically and mentally, when they feel connected and supported.
